Sunday will be dull with intermittent snow and later windy. Dry after dawn, but cloud will thicken and lower and on lowest slopes rain will fall on and off before midday. However, about 1,500ft, it will fall as snow, resulting in intermittent whiteout. Into the afternoon, the wind will quickly strengthen to give gales higher up, the snow will turn more showery, and the very low cloud will lift a little.Monday will soon deteriorate with persistent snow giving whiteout and severe upland gales.
